Being fit and active over 50 is not just for our bodies. It is also for our minds!
Pain, previous injuries, loss of stamina, as well as the fear of falling affect not only our level of fitness, but also our confidence. This can adversely affect our golf game, a tennis match, or even stop us from leaving our home and socializing. Our mind plays a large role in our physical activities and once we begin to lose confidence, our activity level may decrease.
Losing confidence is an enormous problem, but I have coached many people to a position where they trust their own body's strength and capabilities again. They are able to increase their physical activities and enjoy life to the fullest!
My name is Monique and with almost 20 years of experience in personal training and coaching, I develop personalized programs designed to put you back in control of your life, enabling you to restore balance and have more energy and fun!
I am in my 50's too and have been a successful athlete, yet I also suffer from ailments that come with aging. Many clients start out with trepidation but quickly find out that I can help them do movements that they did not realize they were capable of. As a result, my clients not only increase their levels of fitness, strength, flexibility and balance, they also gain a significant amount of self confidence!
During sessions with me, I will support and guide you through exercises in a safe but challenging fashion in order to improve your overall health. You will remove physical and emotional clutter, define your priorities, and begin to take the steps required to reach your goals.
